Excavator slewing support is mainly used to support the weight of the car body and bear the working load, and this part is also the place where the excavator is prone to failure. Since the slewing support of the excavator is generally working under large load conditions, and the working environment of the excavator is relatively harsh, the slewing support is easy to fail, and the most common is a variety of abnormal noises. Then when there is a strange sound, what will be the cause? What should be done to troubleshoot the problem?
First of all, it needs to be clear that when the slewing support is idling shortly after the factory, it will make a uniform sound of the steel ball rolling, which is a normal sound; If it has just been installed, the small abnormal sound does not matter, and it will generally disappear after a period of time. What we’re talking about today is louder and more specific sounds, and you need to pay attention when you hear a particular noise.
First, when the installation surface is uneven and the installation bolt is loose in the occurrence of abnormal noise, it is necessary to solve the problem of installation operation. When the roughness of the installation surface does not meet the requirements, it will cause the raceway to form a negative gap, resulting in abnormal noise; In addition, when the pinion mesh is not good, it may also produce abnormal sound, which will cause the fault of broken teeth; In addition, when the mounting bolt is loose, resulting in elastic deformation of the slewing support and negative clearance at the deformation position, you need to check immediately and tighten the bolt as required.
Second, there are foreign bodies in the slewing support When there are sand, iron filings and other foreign bodies in the slewing support, non-periodic vibration will occur, and there will be a failure of rotation inflexible. In this case, it is necessary to strictly clean the bearings, shafts, seat holes and matching parts before installation, and remove foreign bodies in the lubricant in time; Remember to avoid using plastic cages with impure materials or embedded foreign objects, so as to remove the corresponding abnormal noise.
Third, the abnormal sound caused by the grease problem is lubricated by the rotary bearing of the excavator, and the abnormal sound is likely to be caused by the lubrication problem. The common reasons are lack of grease in the raceway, uneven grease filling, poor quality aging of grease, and wrong selection of lubricants. To solve this problem, only the use of appropriate lubricants, timely filling, timely replacement can be solved.
Fourth, the abnormal sound caused by the damage of the seal to check whether the seal is worn, because the structure of the slewing bearing seal plays a key role in the sealing, when the seal and the slewing support can not be fully fitted, easy to cause grease leakage. In addition, the aging resistance and yellow oil resistance of the sealing strip material are also issues that need to be considered.
Fifth, the abnormal noise caused by cracks, indentation or rust when the rolling surface of the slewing support has cracks, indentation or rust, it also heard periodic vibration like riveting rivets, scars will occur continuously in the channel, scars on the steel ball will disappear and appear, and this noise varies with the installation and lubrication conditions. The liberation method is not to knock the bearing or use high viscosity grease when installing.
