How to improve the excavator track life

  1. Avoid walking and sudden turning on inclined terrain ░ if you repeatedly walk on inclined ground for a long time and turn suddenly, the side of the rail link will contact with the side of the drive wheel and the guide wheel, thus increasing the degree of wear. Therefore, walking in inclined areas and sudden turning should be avoided as much as possible. Straight line travel and large turns can effectively prevent wear.

2, find the problem, repair immediately ░ if part of the sprocket and support wheel can not operate in the state of continued use, it may cause the roller wear, but also may cause the wear of the rail link. If a roller that does not work is found, it must be repaired immediately! In this way, other failures can be avoided. ░

3, regularly check the bolts and nuts ░ support wheel, sprocket mounting bolts, track plate bolts, drive wheel mounting bolts, walking pipe bolts, etc., because the machine works for a long time, it is easy to loose because of vibration. For example, if the machine continues to operate when the track plate bolt is loose, it will cause a gap between the track plate and the bolt, which will lead to a crack in the track plate. Moreover, the gap may also increase the bolt hole between the track and the rail chain node, resulting in the serious consequence that the track and the rail chain node cannot be tightened and must be replaced. Therefore, bolts and nuts should be inspected and tightened regularly to reduce unnecessary maintenance costs. ░

4, timely clean the dirt and gravel in the track ░ soil or gravel rolled into the track, will rotate with the track and be squeezed between the guide wheel, drive wheel and track, will make the track is elongated. When the extrusion pressure in the track exceeds the bearing capacity of the chain rail, the chain rail will break, which will accelerate the wear of the track and the four wheels. Therefore, when there is soil and gravel in the excavator track, the Angle between the excavator motor arm and the bucket rod arm should be changed to keep it within 90°~110°, and then the bottom of the bucket should be placed on the ground, and one side of the track should be suspended and rotated several times, so that the soil or gravel in the track can be completely removed from the track, and then the boom can be manipulated to make the track fall back to the ground. Then operate the other track. ░

5, as far as possible to choose a flat road ░ the construction road and site of earth and rock works are uneven. If the driver does not choose a better walking route when moving the excavator, when the track presses on the convex part of the road, a certain point of the track bears the weight of the machine, it is easy to cause damage to the track. Often walk more than 30° slope of the road, when the machine can not climb up, the use of the bucket into the soil, relying on the telescopic force of the bucket arm cylinder as a way to climb, it is also easy to cause strain of the track. Therefore, when the excavator walks, it should try to choose a flat road or soil surface, and the machine should not be moved frequently. When moving within a longer distance, it is best to use a trailer to carry it, and try to prevent the excavator from being moved around in a large range. It should not be too steep when climbing, and when it is necessary to climb a steep slope, the route can be extended to slow down the slope and prevent the track from stretching and straining. Whether it is a new excavator or a second-hand excavator, in short, we should love and maintain it with our hearts. In fact, as long as a little time is spent on proper maintenance, you can avoid the “major operation of the excavator leg” in the future, save you considerable maintenance funds, and avoid the delay caused by maintenance.
